I am a Mama, a Moon and Star Gazer, a Sun Lover, a Deep Diver into the depths of the Feminine Heart, a Ritual and Ceremony Creatrix, and live and love from the rhythms of my heart space. I have a passion for working heart to heart with women both individually, and in circles, supporting you to remember your essence through rest, ritual and rhythm in the nourishing beauty of HeartSpace.
I have a Masters Degree (with First Class Honours) in Psychology, I am a Certified Daring to Rest Yoga Nidra Facilitator, a Certified Qoya movement teacher, and have trained in Mayan Arvigo® Spiritual Healing, and the Sacred Art of Ritual. I combine all of this magic medicine to create retreats that are deeply healing feminine journeys of remembering through rest, rhythm and ritual – ultimately guiding women home to their own heart spaces.
Yoga Nidra meditation is known as the ‘Sleep of the Yogis’. It’s the kind of yoga you do lying down in stillness, nestled into the most comfortable cosy nest you can create. It’s the medicine of rest, an ancient, sleep-based guided practice that supports you to deeply rest and heal your mind, body and soul. It is a beautiful practice for anyone, and it’s especially helpful if you are experiencing sleep deprivation, exhaustion and/or anxiety as it resets your nervous system to a state of calm and ease. All you need to do is lie down, close your eyes and listen with awareness as you are guided into deep states of relaxation.
It is said that 40 minutes of yoga nidra feels like 3 hours of sleep to the body.
